Founded in 1991, CONTEMPORARY is a successful organisation which was acquired by the itelligence group in May 2011 and is now a wholly owned subsidiary. Our success in Business Intelligence is built on the relationships with our customers through the provision of high value Business Intelligence consulting, training, and support services, utilising technology from two of the most highly regarded Software vendors – SAP BusinessObjects and Microsoft.

CONTEMPORARY's SAP BusinessObjects awards are in recognition of a long and successful relationship with SAP BusinessObjects, which has spanned over 15 years, during which CONTEMPORARY has demonstrated industry leading skills and has built a considerable practice around the delivery of Business Intelligence solutions in the areas of performance management, reporting, query and analysis, data integration and full service information delivery.

CONTEMPORARY is an SAP BusinessObjects:

• Gold Partner. CONTEMPORARY plc is an approved GOLD SAP channel partner and SAP BusinessObjects GOLD Partner. Accreditation is only achieved on meeting stringent criteria based on product experience and knowledge and consultant certification.
• Certified Migration Specialist. To achieve this level of certification CONTEMPORARY has successfully completed migrations from both classic 6.5 Business Objects environments and Crystal Enterprise to Business Objects XI.
• Certified Consulting Partner and one of SAP BusinessObjects’ first Accredited Consulting Partners in Europe.
• Authorised Education Partner and SAP BusinessObjects European Training Partner of the Year.

Microsoft Gold Gold Business Intelligence Competency Accreditation

CONTEMPORARY was one of the first Microsoft partners to be awarded the new 2010 Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) Gold Business Intelligence Competency Accreditation – the highest level of Microsoft's new accreditations.

Microsoft say they have raised the bar by introducing the new competency levels and that the new gold competency requirements are difficult to attain, require a time investment to earn certifications and pass assessments, as well as commitment and participation in Microsoft’s  customer satisfaction process.  Gold competencies will reward this deep expertise and high commitment with a closer working relationship and support from Microsoft.

The award recognises CONTEMPORARY’s expertise in offering “best-in-class” solutions, and undergoing a rigorous and auditable approval process, valued by customers.  The new gold competencies were only made available by Microsoft on the 1st November 2010 and CONTEMPORARY, which has been a gold partner for several years, is now leading the way by achieving this new accreditation on November 15th 2010.

The business intelligence competency is designed for partners that specialise in the Microsoft business intelligence platform and associated performance management tools.  These partners are fully equipped to help customers leverage the data they’re already collecting to build more effective business strategies.  For customers, strong and accurate business intelligence often equals a competitive advantage, which is why robust business intelligence solutions are always in demand.

• Business Intelligence. Attained through proven skills in designing, deploying and customising business intelligence offferings on the Microsoft platform.
