Crystal Reports/Business Objects Consultant

As a Business Objects Platinum Partner we are seeking a Crystal Reports/Business Objects Consultant to join our well-established and highly respected professional services team.

Our business is consistently growing and boasts a fine selection of client names and is continually winning new ones. We fully recognise that it’s people like you, which make it possible to win and retain the trust of clients in such a specialist market.

Your role will be varied and your responsibilities will include:

  • Definition, design and development of universes and reports
  • Installation and configuration of Business Objects Enterprise software

It is anticipated that in order to be a success in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Report writing experience (Crystal 8.5, or Business Objects 5.x onwards – will be trained to XI)
  • Experience of installing and configuring Crystal Enterprise or Business Objects Enterprise
  • Solid SQL skills and good understanding of reporting against SQL Server
  • Ability to communicate with customer up to board level

  • Providing consulting expertise on a range of areas

It is anticipated that in order to be a success in this role you will be able to demonstrate clear skills and experience with a number of the following technologies:

  • Windows SharePoint Services
  • SharePoint Portal Server, MOSS 2007
  • Excel Services
  • InfoPath

  • Experience of VMware or other virtualisation technologies
  • SQL Server 2000 / 2005
