Business Intelligence Provider to Integrate with the Kintera Technology Platform.

Kintera® Inc. announced recently that Advizor Solutions, a leading provider of business analysis software, has joined with the Kintera Connect partner program to develop a solution that will help nonprofit organisations gain a better understanding of donor behavior and giving patterns.

Once developed, the application will provide these nonprofit organisations with interactive, customisable, and on-demand business analytics.

Using Advizor Solutions’ Visual Discovery™, they will be able to graphically view analytics including gender, age, giving history, payment time and type, donation frequency, and donor campaign activity. Additionally, the interactive functionality of Advizor Solutions’ business intelligence software will enable clients to drill down and personalise information gathered from Kintera’s donor management and fundraising solutions.

As stated by a Kintera representative “The Kintera Connect platform enables us to create an integrated solution that we believe will enable nonprofit organizations to raise money more efficiently,” said Doug Coswell, CEO of Advizor Solutions. “The idea to contact Kintera and join the program actually came from one of our nonprofit clients, so we know the demand exists and we are confident that nonprofits will find the solution easy to use and vital to the overall understanding of donor behavior.”

Kintera Connect is the company’s open application integration platform and enables clients and partners to integrate their third party solutions with Kintera technology. A current example of this is Freecause, who have developed a customisable browser tool that enables nonprofit organisations to utilise the extensive segmentation capabilities of Kintera’s technology directly from the browser toolbar.

In addition to Kintera Connect, both clients and partners benefit from the company’s multi-tenant architecture. Unlike many other client/server or hosted ASP environments, Kintera's "multi-tenancy" enables all clients and applications to share one centrally maintained common infrastructure and code base. As a result, clients benefit from low costs, rapid deployment, ongoing maintenance and upgrades, and a focus on scalability and performance.

The architecture used creates a distinct boundary between Kintera's open platform and the applications that run on it.
