Business Intelligence Suppliers Urged To Take More Ground.

With some analysts predicting a decline in spend on Business Intelligence growth in the years to 2011, BI suppliers have been told to "take more ground" and make their system more pervasive in the enterprise.

Spend on Business Intelligence did fall in 2007 to 12.5% and it is estimated that by 2011 this could well relate to growth figures of under 9%. Of course the recent bout of takeovers has also muddied the water, with the effects of "supplier consolidation" yet to be fully felt.
